Expert-comptable · Commissaire aux comptes · US CPAAbout Benjamin
Benjamin Pik is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Expand CPA, an international accounting firm with offices in Paris and Tel Aviv, specialising in foreign businesses and expatriates in France.
He is dual-qualified: a French expert-comptable and commissaire aux comptes, and a US Certified Public Accountant. That combination is what his work turns on. Over the years he has advised entrepreneurs, investors and international groups on tax and financial questions between France and the United States, working mainly in complex Franco-American situations where the two systems interact.
His practice covers Franco-American taxation for US persons resident in France, US tax compliance (Forms 1040, 1040-NR, 5471, 5472, FBAR and FATCA reporting), supervision of French tax obligations (income tax, corporate tax and VAT), cross-border structuring through vehicles such as LLCs, SAS, SASU, SCI and holding companies, and global mobility for executives and families relocating.
He is also a Certifying Acceptance Agent authorised by the IRS, which allows him to certify identity documents for ITIN applications — the route non-US spouses and dependents of Americans in France have to take.
He holds the French Diplôme d'Expertise Comptable and studied at Université Paris-Dauphine and the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
