Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and collect information about how you use the site.
Similar technologies — including web beacons, pixels, and browser local storage — may also be used for equivalent purposes and are covered by this Policy.
2. Scope
This Cookie Policy covers both of TWENTY M's online properties:
the EasyFranceNow website and blog at https://www.easyfrancenow.com (the "Website"); and
the France Navigator application at https://members.easyfrancenow.com (the "App").
The cookies and similar technologies used differ between the two, as set out below.
3. Who Places Cookies and Similar Technologies?
On the Website (easyfrancenow.com):
TWENTY M (first-party) and Framer B.V. — website functionality;
Google (Google Analytics 4) — analytics;
Endorsely — affiliate referral attribution.
On the France Navigator App (members.easyfrancenow.com):
Memberstack — account authentication and session management;
Netlify, Inc. — hosting, load balancing, and security;
Endorsely — affiliate referral identifier;
TWENTY M (first-party) — local storage of your tool inputs on your device, and of your consent preferences.
4. Categories We Use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Services to function and cannot be disabled.
Website: Framer B.V. — website functionality and session management. Duration: session or as required for core functionality.
App: Memberstack — authentication and session cookies that keep you logged in and protect your account. Duration: session and persistent login.
App: Netlify — infrastructure, load balancing, and security. Duration: session.
Local storage — France Navigator tools (no consent required; stays on your device)
The App stores the information you enter into its tools in your browser's local storage, on your device only. This data is never sent to TWENTY M or any third party. Stored keys include a profile store (for example, efn_profile_v1). You can clear it at any time from within each tool or through your browser settings. The App also stores your affiliate referral identifier locally (for example, efn_endorsely_referral) so that a purchase can be credited to the partner who referred you.
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Website — for example, which pages are visited most frequently, how long visitors stay, and where they arrive from. They are placed only with your prior consent.
_ga (Google Analytics 4, Google LLC) — distinguishes unique users — Duration: 2 years.
_gid (Google Analytics 4, Google LLC) — distinguishes users over a 24-hour period — Duration: 24 hours.
Analytics data collected via Google Analytics 4 may be transferred to Google LLC servers in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. IP anonymisation is enabled. For further information, see Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Affiliate / referral cookies (prior consent required)
We operate an affiliate programme through Endorsely. When you reach the Website or App through a partner link, Endorsely records a referral identifier (via a cookie, a URL parameter, and/or browser local storage) so that a subsequent purchase can be credited to the partner who referred you. These technologies are not strictly necessary and are placed only with your prior consent. Endorsely is established in the United States; transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Preference and consent cookies
Provider: TWENTY M. Purpose: stores your cookie consent choices so that you are not asked again on each visit. Duration: 6 to 13 months, depending on the consent tool configuration. [Confirm the specific cookie name once your consent tool is selected and configured.]
Marketing and advertising cookies
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles or serve ads. The affiliate attribution described above is used solely to credit partners for referrals. If this changes, this Cookie Policy will be updated and your prior consent will be sought before any advertising cookies are placed.
5. Your Consent
In accordance with French ePrivacy rules (Article 82 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés) and CNIL guidelines, we obtain your prior consent before placing any non-essential cookies or similar technologies (analytics and affiliate/referral) on your device.
Your consent is collected via our cookie consent management tool, displayed on your first visit to the Website and the App. You may accept all non-essential cookies, select specific categories, or refuse all non-essential cookies. Your choices are recorded and stored for the duration specified above. Non-essential technologies are not activated until you have given your consent.
6. Withdrawing or Changing Your Consent
You may withdraw or change your cookie preferences at any time:
By clicking on the cookie settings link; or
Through your browser settings (see Section 7 below).
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before withdrawal.
