Common questions

Who exactly is my assistant?+
A French national on the EasyFranceNow team, trained by Maxime and Aurelio on how American files get accepted here. You get one named person who stays with you for the whole subscription, and Maxime and Aurelio step in on the hard cases.
What is the difference between two weeks and a month?+
The service is identical. Two weeks suits a short burst, like a housing push or a landing week. A month is the better value once you know you will want the help beyond that. Both renew automatically until you stop them.
Is there a limit on how much I can ask for?+
No task limit. We ask for fair use, meaning a personal assistant rather than a full-time employee, so up to about 10 hours of active work a week. That is far more than a housing search and a French life usually take. If you need more, we will say so and quote it.
Is housing really included?+
Yes: the brief, the dossier, the outreach in French, the follow-ups, making your case, reading the lease and switching everything on. What is not included is standing in for you at viewings. In some cities we can arrange that, so ask us.
Can you guarantee I find an apartment?+
No, and be wary of anyone who does. What we do guarantee is that your file is presented properly and argued for, that no agency is left unanswered, and that you always know where every lead stands.
I am still in the US. Does it make sense to start now?+
It is the best moment. The housing pipeline, the bank appointment and the paperwork all take weeks to line up. Starting before you land turns your first week in France into viewings and signatures rather than searching.
What about my visa application?+
Your assistant helps you gather and organise documents. The visa dossier itself is a separate product: the dossier review checks your file line by line before you submit it.
Is this legal or tax advice?+
No. It is practical, hands-on help from people who know the system. When you need a lawyer, an accountant or a notaire, we say so and, if you like, find one and book it. Prices are in US dollars and taxes may apply at checkout.
How do I stop?+
From the link in your Stripe receipt, in two clicks, with no call. You keep the service until the end of the period you paid for.
How are my documents handled?+
Anything sensitive goes through a private, end-to-end encrypted link rather than email. It is used only for your file and deleted when you leave.
